Cooking Class: All About Sushi

Learn how to make restaurant-quality sushi yourself with this guided cooking class with Chef Lorry. You will be led every step of the way, from pairing your flavors to prepping your ingredients to assembling and slicing and topping your rolls. 

You'll be making two varieties of sushi rolls in this class — one made with tuna and sriracha, and the other made with assorted vegetables — and shrimp nigiri.

Our cooking classes are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase beer to enjoy during the class.

We had a fabulous time at Chef Lorry's sushi making class. She was great at explaining each of the dishes we were making, as well as all of the ingredients that go into making great sushi. I also loved how organized she was with the class - the ingredient station was set up neatly and each student had their own bamboo mat to roll sushi. Overall it was a really fun experience learning something new, meeting the other guests and we'll definitely be back!

Chef Lorry creates a wonderful experience. We participated in the Moroccan Feast and not only learned about how to make a new cuisine, but learned other easy tips and tricks for cooking in general that we can take with us. The food was incredible--I'm hoping I can recreate it some time on my own because I am already looking forward to indulging in these recipes again, and Chef Lorry is a joy to spend the evening with!

I had blast! Chef Lorry did a great job and was very kind and informative. Neither me nor my boyfriend had really cooked before but Chef Lorry made it easy to understand and I definitely feel as if I can do the meal on my own now! I would recommend her and this program to any of my friends

Lorry was so much fun and I learned so much from her! She explained all of the ingredients she was using and where to find them in Denver. I really enjoyed the moroccan B'Stilla. It was so savory and I can't wait to try and make it myself at home! I feel so much more confident in my cooking techniques, and I'm so glad I had this experience!
