Cooking Class: Ravioli Techniques

Join Chef Antonio to learn classic Italian cooking techniques to make perfect ravioli every time.


Take a culinary journey to Italy with Chef Antonio as your guide as you discover the proper skills needed to make ravioli from scratch. First, you will learn how to roll out your homemade pasta dough, then use that dough to craft these Italian dumplings and fill them with butternut squash. Then, you'll brew a savory, umami-laden wild mushroom sauce to top your ravioli. Buon appetito!

Our cooking classes are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Antonio was awesome. It was a small class which made it a great experience and a lot of hands-on. He talked to us throughout the entire class and explain the process step-by-step and even when things didn’t work out he showed us how to fix them because these are things that would probably most likel chef Antonio was awesome. Making the dough for the raviolis look like it was going to fail but with his expertise and telling us what to do we didn’t give up and things came out terrific. Now we’re going to make our own at home He’s an awesome teacher, instructor, speaker, and person.

Chef Antonio was marvelous! I learned how to make four delicious dishes that were inspired from Italy. I learned about his experiences living there and connection to each dish. I was always intimidated by making gnocchi and with Antonio's class I feel like I can do it! A great experience and highly recommend it!

I first met Antonio at a restaurant downtown, and I've also seen him at a few highly regarded private events around town. Everyone I've met who's tried his food has been full of compliments. After our class with him, I definitely agree! Each dish was delicious in its own way, and the presentation was great. Everyone (including me) tried to get his number to hire him for their events. Chef Antonio does an amazing job, and I would recommend him without hesitation.

Chef Antonio gave my family and I an evening to remember! He posses a deep understanding of Italian food and was clearly very comfortable in the kitchen. The meal began with appetizers that looked just as delicious as they tasted. Antonio taught us quite a bit about Italian food and culture, and each dish was remarkable. He was highly organized and clean in his work. We booked him for a family reunion, and we'll definitely hire him again the same next time we get together!

Now, Chef Antonio can be found in downtown Boston as the executive chef of an upscale restaurant, and as a culinary instructor teaching a variety of interactive cooking classes.
