This fun and informative cooking class focused on the artistry of sushi begins with learning the secrets to making homemade sushi rice. Then, discover how to properly slice fresh fish and vegetables, and get to work rolling your sushi, beginning with a spicy tuna roll, and followed by a true classic: the California roll.

Our cooking classes are designed to be social events that do not require any previous experience. Guests are welcome to purchase beer to enjoy during the class.

Chef Paolo was amazing!!! It was date night for us and this experience was nothing short of amazing. It ended up being a small groupand it literally felt like a private cooking class. Chef knows what he’s talking about and has some pretty cool stories to go along with his knowledge! Hopefully there will be more classes down the road cus I would love to come back!!

Can't say enough good things about Chef Paolo! He told captivating stories and shared lots of great cooking tips and tricks throughout the evening. The meal we created was authentic and bursting with flavor — to be honest, it put the restaurants in our area to shame. We will most certainly be cooking with Chef Paolo again very soon!

I've tried a number of cooking classes, but Chef Paolo's was easily my favorite. He was very well prepared and took the time to make small talk while getting prepared. He could instinctively tell each person's experience in the kitchen, then adjusted the lesson to each individual. Most important, the food he helped us to prepare was absolutely stunning!

Our evening with Chef Paolo was pretty much perfect! Besides a tasty meal, we also learned a lot and enjoyed listening to his stories from all over the world. We enjoyed our time with Chef Paolo so much that we'll definitely be attending another class again with our friends. He taught us a lot about the recipes we were working with, as well as the history behind each dish. All in all, a perfect way to celebrate my husband's birthday!

Chef Paolo was so friendly and a joy to cook with. You could really feel how passionate he was about each dish, and you could tell he enjoyed teaching us and sharing his expertise. We learned lots about the history and culture of Tuscany. All in all, Chef Paolo made cooking a lot more approachable for someone like me, and he helped us create a truly phenomenal meal. Would definitely do this again.

I hired Chef Paolo to help my wife and I celebrate our fifth anniversary, and we had such a fantastic time. Paolo was very personable and professional, and he took the time to teach us all about the history and science behind each dish. We learned a lot of things that we can take back to our kitchen at home. And the food — amazing! We took lots of pictures to prove it. I'd definitely recommend Paolo and hope to request him next time I use this service.

Chef Paolo was incredibly informative, conversational and well-organized. He not only taught us how to make amazing sushi, but everyday techniques like how to properly use a knife, cut an onion as well as expert French and Japanese cooking techniques. I highly recommend this experience to everyone of any level of cooking.
