Cooking Class: Homemade Ravioli

In this ravioli-making workshop with Chef Danielle, you will learn the techniques needed to craft your own handmade ravioli pockets completely from scratch.


Begin by making fresh egg dough, then roll it into pasta sheets and turn those sheets into lemon and ricotta ravioli! Chef Danielle will teach you everything you need to know to make perfect ravioli, including hand-kneading techniques. Once the dough has been prepared and rolled into sheets, you'll fill them with whole milk ricotta and herbs, then top the ravioli in a buttery sauce with quickly braised local greens.

I had a great time making Ravioli. Chef Danielle made it fun and educational. We learnt technical aspects in a very accessible way. She showed us alternate ways to do about almost everything, without making me feel like I was doing it wrong. This was helpful as it catered to all needs and styles. I also enjoyed learning about why Danielle became a Chef!

I was very grateful for this experience. Danielle was smart and kind and was an excellent coach. She shared some great tips on pasta making. The ravioli we made was delicious. A few bits of feedback: I wish it had started a bit earlier - it was pretty late by the time we finished and it felt kind of rushed toward the end. I didn't get to learn how to make the sauce. I wish there had been signage upon entering the resturant (the host was kind and pointed out where to go but it was a bit confusing at first and a lot of people were asking what was going on). I have a lot of experience cooking so I would love it if there were more advanced classes.

The cooking class was great but the space was a little challenging. It was hard to hear chef Danielle sometimes and the high tops were kind of difficult to work on for a few tasks.
